IC Data Communications is proposing the placement of an experienced individual to fill the role of Level One Onsite IT Support Technician. Full time position.

This position is focused in the education K-12 space and is responsible for Network operation (LAN and WLAN), Microsoft Active Directory management (Adds and changes, Integrity, Backup), Google G Suite for Education administration, Maintaining the integrity of all computer workstations as well as associated software and hardware (Including interactive whiteboards, mobile devices, projectors, phones, security cameras, etc.), Server operation including updates and backups, Maintaining and monitoring the overall organizational security posture. The IT Support Technician is also the main point of contact for users who are experiencing network and computer issues.

- Manage tickets in a timely manner
- Provide user assistance
- Document customer interactions
- Run diagnostics to resolve customer-reported issues
- Escalate issues to the next tier when necessary
- Install, make changes and repair computer hardware and software
- Follow-up with vendors to ensure issues are resolved
- Assist with identifying hardware and software solutions.
- Troubleshooting technical issues.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults.
- Resolving network issues (where qualified)
- Installing and configuring hardware and software.
- Speaking to customers to quickly get to the root of their problem.
- Providing timely and accurate customer feedback.
- Following up with users to ensure the problem is resolved.
- Replacing or repairing necessary IT parts.
- Supporting the roll-out of new applications.
- Providing support in the form of procedural documentation.
- Managing multiple cases at one time.
- Testing and evaluating new technologies.
- Operate Network Devices
